Local SEO in Harrisburg, PA, done properly and priced in public.

Local SEO for a Harrisburg, PA business means showing up, with the right facts, when someone nearby searches for what you sell. Regulars is a flat-rate agency based in Harrisburg. We keep your business accurate on Google, Apple Maps, Bing and the directories customers check, and active on Google every month, for $700/mo per eligible location, a price you can read before you ever call us.

What local SEO actually covers

Search on your phone for a barber, a bakery or a plumber and Google often answers with a map and a short list of nearby businesses, above the websites. Local SEO is the work of getting your business into that list and giving people a reason to pick it once it is there. Five things feed it.

Your Google Business Profile
The panel with your hours, phone number, photos, posts and reviews that appears on Google Search and Google Maps when someone searches your name or your trade. It is free, it belongs to you, and it is often the first look a customer gets at your business.
Apple Maps and Bing
Separate listings on separate platforms. Customers who look you up in Apple Maps or on Bing see these instead, so they need the same facts as your Google profile.
Citations
Every directory that lists your name, address and phone number, from Yelp and Facebook to the directories specific to your trade. When they disagree, customers call old numbers and search engines get mixed signals about which facts are true.
Reviews
How many you have, how recent they are and whether anyone answers them. Customers read them when they are deciding where to go.
Your own local pages
The pages on your website that say what you do and where you do it. Your profile links to them, so they need to load quickly and back up what the profile says.

What Local Search includes, for each location

  • Local Search$700/mo per eligible location

Local Search is what we call this work. It is sold per eligible location at one published monthly price plus a one-time $297 setup, and everything below is included. See it on Services.

  1. At the start

We confirm your exact business name from your paperwork, check your categories, hours, services and booking links with you, then set up and optimize the Google and Apple profiles you own. We correct your name, address and phone number across the directories that matter for your kind of business, and we record a baseline of your Google views, calls, direction requests, review count and rating before anything changes.

  2. Every month

4 to 5 Google Posts written from what is true at your business, with an offer post only when you have a real offer to run. Up to 5 new photos, chosen from the photos you send us. A check for edits you did not make, with anything wrong that Google added on its own taken back out. Holiday hours set ahead of each holiday you observe. A keyword and category review.

  3. By the fifth business day

A written report in plain English, measured against your baseline: what we changed, what Google shows for calls, direction requests and website clicks, and anything we are waiting on from you.

  4. Every quarter

We re-check your listings across the directory set and correct whatever has drifted since the last pass.

The profiles stay yours. You remain the Primary Owner on Google, your Apple Business account is in your name, and we work through the access you grant. Remove it whenever you like; everything we built stays with you.

Local Search or Website SEO?

  • Local Search$700/mo per eligible location
  • Website SEO Optimization$1,500/mo per website

The names sound alike and the jobs are different. Local Search looks after the listings about your business that live on other platforms: Google, Apple, Bing and the directories. It is priced per location. Website SEO works on your own site: technical fixes, page content, images, structured data and measurement across up to 20 public indexable pages. It is priced per website.

The first month of Website SEO goes to a baseline and approved critical fixes. After that, each month covers one unit of work: one approved page or content piece up to 800 words, two refreshes of existing pages up to 400 words each, or up to three bounded technical fixes. Changed pages are checked on mobile and for accessibility, images and structured data, and you get a written report.

Choose either or both. One website plus one location comes to $2,200 a month, and no task is billed twice. Both lines are on Pricing. For a business people visit or call, the map listing is often where the search starts, so Local Search is the line we suggest first. When that listing sends people to a site that is slow, thin or hard to use, Website SEO is the line that works on the site itself.

What the first months look like

The first weeks are setup. We collect the facts from you, claim or create your profiles, and fix the listings. Verification runs on Google's clock: video verification can take up to five business days, and a postcard commonly takes 5 to 14 days and sometimes longer. Apple reviews your business separately, on its own timeline. While a postcard is in the mail, the name, category and address stay untouched, so we work on everything else.

On a new or recently verified profile, we spread the changes over several days. A burst of edits on a young profile is a known trigger for suspension, and patience is cheaper than an appeal.

From there the monthly rhythm takes over. Every report compares the month with your baseline in plain English, and in a month where nothing has moved yet, the report says so. One person owns your account, and a 15-minute check-in call is yours any month you want it.

Your side stays small: Manager access to your Google profile, an Apple Business account in your name shared with us through Partner Access, accurate hours, services and booking links, approvals when we ask, and photos you have the rights to. Every photo we publish comes from you. A month with no usable photos is a month with no new photos, and unused photo slots do not roll over.

What local SEO cannot promise

Google decides who shows up on the map, and it changes its mind without asking anyone. So the promise we make is the work on this page, done on schedule, with a monthly report that says plainly what happened. Rankings, map spots and call counts stay out of our promises, because no agency controls them.

Map results also depend on where the searcher is standing. Search from your own front door and you will usually look like the top result, which proves very little, and a customer in Midtown or across the river in Camp Hill may see a different list. That is why your monthly report is built on what Google counts for your profile: calls, direction requests and website clicks.

Some things stay fixed no matter what. Your profile carries your real business name exactly as it appears on your paperwork, with no keywords or city added. Each real location gets one profile. Offer posts run only when the offer is real. Shortcuts around any of those break Google's rules and put the whole profile at risk.

Straight answers, before you sign anything

What does it cost?
Local Search is $700/mo per eligible location, plus a one-time $297 setup fee. The tracking software is on us. The first 90 days are a firm initial term. After that it runs month to month, and cancelling takes 30 days of notice. Every price we charge is published on this site.
How long before I see results?
Results depend on your customers and on Google, so we give you a schedule for the work and let the monthly report show what it does. Setup happens in the first weeks, verification runs on Google's clock, posts go out every month with any usable photos you send, and every report measures the month against your starting baseline.
Do I keep my Google profile if I leave?
Yes. You stay the Primary Owner and we work as a Manager on it, so you can remove us at any time. Your Apple Business account is in your name too. What we built stays with you.
Do you answer my Google reviews?
Review replies belong to Review Engine, $500/mo, which asks your customers for reviews and writes a reply to every Google review in your voice. Local Search reports your review count and rating each month without replying to reviews.
I have more than one location. How does pricing work?
Local Search is priced $700/mo per eligible location, so each eligible location is its own line, and each additional eligible location has its own $297 setup. A shared website, or a room inside another business, does not by itself qualify a place for its own map listing, so we confirm eligibility before it goes into your agreement. We work with owners running up to three locations.
Do you only work with restaurants?
Restaurants came first, because Regulars started in a family restaurant. We work with owner-operated small businesses across Harrisburg and Central PA: restaurants, cafés, shops, salons and trades.
Can I get a one-time cleanup instead?
Yes. Google Rescue is a one-time $797 project covering full Google Business Profile optimization, citation cleanup and review-link setup. It gets the profile right once and leaves the monthly upkeep with you. If you want that upkeep done every month, that is Local Search.
